The Indiana Stamp Club will host the INDYPEX ’24 Stamp Collectors Show September 20-22 at it’s new location, Hendricks Co. 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference Complex, 1900 E. Main Street, Danville, IN. INDPEX is accredited American Philatelic Society (APS) World Series of Philately show. Grand award winners are automatically eligible for the annual APS World Series of Philately competition. Show hours will be Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission and parking are free. INDPEX expects that all the APS exhibit classes will be on display. The APS judges will be led by John Hotchner who will also bring his non-competitive exhibit on U.S. Postal Counterfeits. The show will feature stamps and covers for all ages and interests from 25-30 dealers. There will be a cachet show and cancel celebrating 2024 as the Year of the Solar Eclipse in the USA. Special tables will be set aside for beginners and youth. Doors prizes will be awarded periodically each day. INYPES ’24 will host the following groups: The Machine Cancel Society, The Anthony Wayne Stamp Society, and The Indiana Postal History Society. The Indiana Stamp Club and The Indiana Postal History Society will have information tables and there will be an USPS postal substation. The Indiana Stamp Club believes that the new location has several advantages over the old location that should enhance a visitor’s experience. There is more floor space and rooms for club meetings and presentations. The food truck can park next to the Complex where the show will be held, and the new site is considerably closer to the Indianapolis Airport.
