The Cedar Rapids (Ia.) Stamp Club became ATA Chapter #33 in 1961, but became inactive over the years. They are now re-activated and making plans for topical programs. ATA welcomes them back as an active chapter.
Cedar Rapids Stamp Club is comprised of collectors from around Eastern Iowa who collect for different reasons:
- to learn about people, history and geography.
- to study the lands of our ancestors.
- for investment purposes.
- by specific countries, or time periods.
- or for topics of interest.
They encourage you to attend a meeting or two for free. Dues are only $15 per year, and members receive their monthly newsletter, The Paste-Up.Their stamp show, CERAPEX, is the largest annual show in Iowa. It will be April 18-19 in Machinists Hall, Cedar Rapids.
